Habitat’s unique and sensible formula makes it possible for workforce individuals and families to own a home they can afford. With volunteer labor and local donations of money and some in-kind materials, Thomasville-Thomas County Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitates houses with the help of the homeowner families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families or individuals and financed with zero-interest loans.

I'm here to educate, excite,
and engage
Habitat for Humanity has an incredible future here in Thomasville.
We are about workforce housing, giving individuals a chance to not only better themselves but their families and their communities. We are here to encourage, not enable.
Habitat for Humanity is not—and never has been—a hand-out organization. It is a silent economic driver interwoven into a community that creates jobs, tax revenue, and partnerships with local governments to meet our working population.
